Fearless

Mastering others is strength. Mastering yourself makes you fearless. - Lao Tzu

History will be made on Friday September 22nd as Jet Li's final martial arts epic is released across America. This legendary motion picture will feature amazing visual effects with jaw-dropping choreograpgy that will leave the audience breathless. "Fearless" will take you back to the days of "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon," "Hero," and "House of Flying Daggers," but will escalate you further than any martial arts movie has taken you before.

Jet Li's "Fearless" is set in China in the early 1900's, when the four major foreign powers seek to break the chinese spirit. Jet Li plays Huo Yuanjia, the son of a well-respected fighter who wishes to someday be as well-known as his father. Despite his father's wishes, Huo teaches himself martial arts and becomes the number one fighter in his hometown of TianJin. As his skills in the martial arts improve, so does his ego.

After a series of events following the death of another master of the martial arts. Huo traveled the country in search of redemption, and in a small village, he finds the kindness and generosity he needed in order to piece his life back together. There he learns that martial arts was founded on sportsmanship and respect, and not brutality and fame. He realizes that the true fight does not lie in the arena, but within oneself.

As several years pass, Huo decides that it is time to travel back to his hometown in order to repent for his wrongdoings in the past. When he arrives, he notices that everything has changed, and after a great war, foreign powers ruled China. But the people of his hometown continued to practice their traditions and held pride in their culture, and it gave them hope. In order to break their will, the foreign powers staged a tournament to prove their superiority against Chinese fighters. Huo was the only one who rose to challenge them. He carried the Chinese pride on his shoulders, and brought the nation to his feet. He truly was, Fearless.
